Southampton Town banned short-term rentals which will effect how you go about listing your house for rent in the future. In an article from the New York Post they explain the ban – “The measure — passed 4-1 by the village board of trustees on Aug. 19 — sets a new two-week minimum for home rentals across the ritzy beachside locale…” . without the ease of rental listing services such as VRBO or AirBNB for short weekend or Week long bookings, you’ll likely need to turn to a real Estate agent if you want list your home for rent.
